David Grier, Managing Director
David is Managing Director of Alphatec. David is an experienced leader with a strong commercial and financial background, impressive track record of successful strategy development and delivery of business growth across various disciplines and sectors.
Accustomed to operating at board level, nationally or globally and across various business disciplines.
David is experienced in working within both the public and private sectors.
With a love of fine wine and good Italian food, David has just completed a property development in Puglia in Southern Italy and has recently rebuilt on olive grove.
Brian Boyce, Technical Director
Brian is the Technical Director and one of the original founders of Alphatec.
Prior to Alphatec, Brian worked for a number of large UK and International financial organisations including Barclays Bank and the National Australia Group.
He has worked on a number of large scale projects including the redesign of the merged clearing platform for Royal Bank of Scotland and Natwest Bank; on which Alphatec were the lead contractor.
Brian has co-authored two books, holds a black belt in Budokan Karate and enjoys challenging himself through adventure racing and kettlebell training.
Simon Davies, Business Development Director
Simon Davies joined Alphatec as their Business Development Manager in August 2008. With over 17 years experience in national and international product sales, he has helped Alphatec’s award winning software solutions – ClaimControl and Timebox grow from strength to strength.
Prior to Joining Alphatec, Simon ran his own manufacturing company and specialised in product development, product sales and all of the business administration including placing and negotiating all of his relevant business insurance requirements.
Previous to this, Simon held various positions in sales, marketing and management for a variety of companies in different sectors.
Simon is a keen keep fit enthusiast and football player, which he tries to fit in when he’s not travelling, demonstrating and discussing how Alphatec’s software solutions can assist businesses in improving their profitability and performance.
